IRN Special Programming
The Illinois Radio Network is proud to present programs to its affiliates that are both informative and entertaining.
ELECTION NIGHT: When there are statewide elections and primaries, we provide hourly updates with vote totals, reports from candidate headquarters and analysis. Contact us for more details.
IRN PREP REPORT: The prep report gives an in-depth look at the accomplishments of high school athletes and their coaches. The five-minute program was designed to give our affiliates an option for halftime of local games during the football and basketball seasons, but the stories are not limited to those two sports. Other featured topics have included track and field, wrestling and student-athlete conduct. Airing on Fridays, September to March.
THE GOCH FILES: IRN's own Jason Goch sounds off on everything sports in his weekly, 2-minute radio feature
THE MICHAEL KOOLIDGE SHOW – WEEKEND EDITION: A weekend program hosted by statewide syndicated host Michael Koolidge that features interviews and discussions with state lawmakers and newsmakers that center on the issues facing Illinoisans and their families.
ILLINOIS IN FOCUS: A weekly feature of the top Illinois News Network stories of the week, commentary from Illinois News Network's editors and more. This 24-minute weekly news magazine is a perfect fit to fulfill community needs programming.
