Kirsten Buys - Director of Affiliate Relations

 

 

 

Kirsten joined the network in October 2003 and was named affiliate relations director for Illinois Radio Network, Michigan Radio Network and Michigan Farm Radio Network in 2004. She also is involved with the Michigan network’s sports distribution entity,Skywire.

Originally from Ionia, Mich., Kirsten is a Michigan State University graduate with a strong background in journalism. Her work experience before joining the network includes newspaper reporting for the Lansing ( Mich.) State Journal and The Beloit ( Wis.) Daily News. The Wisconsin Newspaper Association awarded Kirsten a first place for investigative journalism just after she joined the network. Kirsten lives in Chicago.
